Dr Taz completed his medical degree at Newcastle University and worked in the UK, before emigrating to Australia in 2014. He worked across a range of hospital departments before choosing to specialise in General Practice. Taz enjoys all aspects of General Practice and has a keen interest in chronic disease management and geriatrics. He has completed additional training in Skin Cancer medicine and offers full skin checks and skin cancer surgery.
Taz is also a medical educator, involved in the training of GP registrars across Southeast Queensland.
Away from work, Taz enjoys cooking, travel, and walks with his Labrador.

Dr Eleasa was born in Toronto, Canada and made the big move “Down Under” in 2009 to study medicine in Brisbane, She completed her medical internship in Bundaberg & Hervey Bay before moving to the Sunshine Coast to complete her GP training. She received her RACGP fellowship in 2017.
She has particular interests in women’s health and mental health as well as in lifestyle medicine including weight loss counselling. She has completed the RANZCOG (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) Diploma & has completed Level 2 Mental Health Skill Training with the Australian Society for Psychological Medicine so is able to offer extended consultations for Focussed Psychological Skills under a GP Mental Health Care Plan.
If you are seeking Focussed Psychological Strategies (FPS) (i.e. psychotherapy / counselling) sessions with Dr Sieh, please have your GP complete a Mental Health Care Plan and write a referral letter addressed to Dr Sieh, including the number of FPS sessions advised. Please book a 1 hour initial consultation for an FPS session and ensure these documents are sent to Silky Oaks Medical Practice prior to your appointment.
Alternatively, you can request a Mental Health Care Plan from Dr Sieh herself, and ensure you book a 30 minute appointment for this.

Dr Reza joined the practice in mid-August 2022. His background is firmly founded in GP, research, teaching, and public health before coming to Australia. He hails from Iran. When he came to Australia, he started working as a GP in Brisbane and then moved to work in Darwin for most of his moratorium.
He holds a PhD in pharmacy from QUT and has worked on digital health technologies in diabetes. As an Associate Professor at School of Medicine and Dentistry, he is also actively involved with academia at Griffith University as an academic title holder, mostly in teaching their final year medical students and accepting student placements for GP rotations.
He lives locally and is excited to be joining the practice.

Dr. Constantine Yanardasis is a GP registrar who graduated with Distinction from Griffith University, Gold Coast, in 2020. He completed his residency at Princess Alexandra Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital, working in emergency, surgery, medicine, and paediatrics. Previously practiced as a GP Registrar at Smith Brothers Medical Clinic, Dr. Yanardasis is passionate about all aspects of general practice.
He has been recognized with the Griffith University Medal and the Sir Samuel Griffith Scholarship for his academic excellence.
Dr. Yanardasis is dedicated to quality improvement in healthcare and has actively contributed to clinical projects. Outside of work, he enjoys teaching and engaging with the medical community.

Dr. Eilidh Gilritchie graduated with Honours in Medicine from the Australian National University and is passionate about General Practice. With a strong interest in women’s and child health, she is currently pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Child Health at the University of Western Sydney. Dr. Gilritchie’s experience includes roles as a GP registrar at Silky Oaks Medical Centre and Senior Resident Medical Officer at The Canberra and Calvary Hospitals, covering specialties such as renal medicine, neurology, and emergency medicine.
Dedicated to continuous improvement, Dr. Gilritchie has been recognized for her excellence with awards such as ACT Junior Medical Officer of the Year. She is also involved in medical education, serving on several committees and contributing to research and publications.
Outside of work, Dr. Gilritchie enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and exploring the outdoors.

Dr Paul Mercer is an experienced GP who established Silky Oaks Medical Practice in 1987. As a generalist, Paul has developed skills in chronic disease care, addiction medicine, mental health care, palliative and aged care, and minor procedures. He has actively trained and mentored over 90 registrars during his career. Paul chairs an international NGO “Health Serve Australia”, and is active in the Queensland Doctor’s Health programme. He plays golf and enjoys AFL and cricket. He is married with three children and ten grandchildren.
Paul is a member of Doctor’s for the Environment, the medical association for prevention of war, Bayside Uniting Church and a member of the Theology on Tap Brisbane Team. He enjoys reading and plans to write in the future as he tries to slow down his clinical commitments.
